Your're not old, your're Vintage!

You ever have a cricut cart that you stash and don't open? I have a few I get them and think I am just not sure about. Well I finally broke down and opened my "Just Because Cards". LOL I have had it seems like forever but did not know if I would really use the content on it. I needed a card for my dad and I had no idea what I was going to use. Then I looked at this cart and seen this pick up truck. He is into old trucks, he owns a couple. He has a weakness for them and just has to buy them when he sees one for sale...lol Anyway when I seen this truck I knew I wanted to use it. Also had this stamp set that I thought was cute. He likes kinda funny cards so thought I use the "Your're Not Old You're Vintage"

For the pickup I cut it out of metallic blue paper, his favorite truck is blue which we joke all the time about. We call it old blue, it needs a little TLC or a lot. We joke with all the time he will be driving that truck till the day it falls apart while he is going down the road. So when I was making the card it had to be blue....lol I also added a fishing pole in the pickup bed cause he loves his fishing. Well thanks for stopping in and supplies will be below as always.

Cricut Creative Cards Free to use till the 20th

Think I have found a new cricut cart I will have to get when it comes out. For all those who have cricut craft room it has been available for free to use since Feb 14th it is only free to use one more day it goes till the 20th. On the Feb 21st you can buy it. I hope some of you have had the chance to use it. Yesterday was the first day I had free to play with it.
My thoughts on it, there is not a ton of content on it from what I have seen. I will say from the little bit I have got to explore it all the items go well together. Not sure if it will be a full content cart or a solution cart I am thinking it will be a solution cart. Lest I hope don't think I would pay the price of full content cart and I really would like to get this cart. Think it make a great cart to add to a collection for those who enjoy card making. Great card designs and they work well together for adding your own touch. And if this is going to be solutions cart and you don't own other card design carts this be a great starter cart even just to have for card bases. So we will see on the 21st what price point it will be but here is the link to check it out and if you have cricut craft room go explore it while you can ends on the 20th and you can use it for free lest till the 20th not sure if it ends at midnight or you have all day on the 20th to. Hello and hope you all have had a great Valentine's day. Its been a pretty good day today, weather was awesome. Went for a 15 mile bike ride, since tomorrow we have a cold front coming in. Blah! Valentine card

Good afternoon everyone! Hope its been a great week for everyone. Sorry I missed posting on Wednesday I had mental mind block going this week. I am finally over it thank goodness....lol So thought I pop in here and share the card I made. I am behind in cards so going to really have to get busy making them. News is saying rain this weekend so guess that gives me a reason to stay home and craft since I wont be biking. :( I am trying to bike as much as I can cause come April I want to make a ride to down town Denton its going to be a 20 mile total trip. Its not a huge mile ride just a small little goal I have set for myself. Best I have done this week is 12 miles in hour and 30 minutes. Yesterday I only rode 4 miles but the winds was so bad, 24 mph and it was head wind the whole way. I wont lie I gave up and some home..lol So anyway that has been what has been going on this week, just cleaning and biking some and trying to craft a little. Male Birthday Card

Hello everyone! Had planned for the next post to be a Valentine card but I decided to make a birthday card. I always have a hard time time making cards for my FIL. With my dad I like to make kinda silly funny cards. And to I cant go wrong with anything fishing related....lol With hubby's dad he is not much into outdoor stuff like fishing hunting. So his card is always a challenge for me every year. This year I just made a simple card I hope looked as male as I could get. I kinda liked the dragon fly thought that be a cute accent. Hello everyone! Hope your week has gone great so far. Its been a pretty good week for me, the weather here has just been amazing here in Texas last two days. It was 76 outside in Jan! Meant to have this posted yesterday but I took a hour and forty min bike ride which I so needed.  Then had to come home and cook and make another card for another birthday coming up. But I will say I felt like this week I have been able to get a lot done. Made the week go by fast....lol
Anyway I wanted to pop in and share this card. He loves fireman and police and such so I had to use the cute little fire dog.

I used the create a critter cartridge, I have to say hands down the best cart you can buy. I have used this so much it has paid for itself over and over again. Cant say enough about this cart. I made this a easel card cause I thought it be fun and cute to make a scene. The flag pole I made, there is no cuts on the cart for this. Anyway I will post all supplies and sizes below. Happy Friday! Hope everyone has had a great week. It was a okay week for me, did not get as much done as I would have liked to but that is how it goes sometimes. Last two days I got to bike ride some which was great since it had been little cold to ride. Today I biked 9 miles, so looking forward to them completing the new bridge for walking and biking. Means I will be able to go much farther once they get it completed over the road that is crazy busy and a added plus Micheal's is just right across the road so it will be super easy to get to. What I most will enjoy I wont lie...lol. Anyways that is what I have been up to also got some crafting in yesterday, made this Valentine's card.And just thought I share.
