Anniversary card
Hello everyone! Once again its a late blog post. I had this post ready 10 days ago and then I come down with a medical issue. They think they know what it is and got meds that I hope will resolve my issues lest I hope and pray. So frustrating when I think its getting back to normal, boom! So anyway here is the post I had ready, gonna post it no matter what dang it!
Happy anniversary card. I will warn you this card is a lot of layers. So this card is not a regular mail card, I am going to have to mail this in a bubble package more than likely. But totally worth it! Now to give credit where credit is due I kinda took this idea from a cricut magazine, the May 2012 edition. Its in the tag section page 123 and the person who did the tag is Roree Rumph. Really pretty tag! And I am finding these mags come in handy for getting ideas. Roree used flower shoppe, many layers and all the cut sizes are on the page. Because this was going on a card I made it bigger but yet not as thick. Here is her tag.
How I did mine was I cut two flowers of each size. Starting from the biggest I cut two then dropped down a size and then cut two and so on. Until I got the the outer flower I desired. By the way sorry forgot to add I used the flower shoppe MUM 4. The center is cut stack4 off flower shoppe, however I did cut 3 of these. Leaves is off flower shoppe as well and its the mum leaf. Then once I had them all cut I curled the petals forward, embossed the leafs with swiss dots. I thought the flower turned out pretty full with out the extra bulk. Its fairly simple card once you get the cuts done. I made a small envelope and added it to a tag. The note coming out of it is just scrap paper I used part of a word stamp to stamp it. The hearts were in my scrap cuts bin added glassy accents to the hearts. All supplies will be listed below. Thanks for stopping by my blog. :)

Birthday Card
Hello as promised I am back. Since the weather is so so hot here I have been even crafting more this week. Normally I enjoy my bike rides everyday but at 104 outside today don't think I will be doing it...lol. I went yesterday for short ride super late it was 8 pm just before dark, was still pretty hot. Tomorrow is going to be 106, gosh I dread it! Ready for fall already dang it....lol Anyway other than crafting I have just been doing stuff around the house and bills blah blah same old same old. Last night as I was working in my craft room I decided the craft room needs a over haul. Going to start working on that soon. Just need to reorganize some areas. Some things don't need as much storage anymore and others items have out grown there homes. When crafting I have found I work best in a nice organized room. So probably share that with you guys when I do it. Will take before and after and maybe do a more detailed look inside the storage. Well thought I would share this birthday card with you all. I hope everyone's week has been going good so far. Thanks for looking and supplies will be listed below as always.
