Sorry been MIA
Hey just thought I let the readers know I have not been around due to company. Gene's family came back Sunday night. So have not been able to get into my craft room and looks like they will be around another 3 weeks lucky me...lol Anyway to we have been finishing up lose ends with our old home we lived at. We have to get a storage building moved so we have to get in ready. Not going to bore you with details of what all we have to do but we have a lot of stuff to do before the 22nd this next Tuesday. And during this time we had to get Gene's truck repaired set us back a pretty good chunk. But its fixed most important thing. So please bare with me as my post will be limited until I get our stuff done and my craft room becomes my craft room again. I promise once we get all this stuff done I will get back to posting as I was. I cant wait for life to get back to normal.....lol

Something springy
Robyn at my pink stamper made such a cute card today and that made me want to join in her challenge to make a springy card. At this point I cant wait for spring after all the ice and snow we have had. And we now are under another winter warning. So tonight while Gene's parents are visiting there other son I thought I take advantage of being able to get in my craft room. I made this card with stamps only since I am kinda limited on how much I can get out I have a air bed in the middle of my craft room, plus they will be back Wednesday. But I enjoyed the break and relaxing for a few mins. Now off to get some stuff done. Thanks for looking.

Finally!
The sun is out just in time for Superbowl. Its been crazy here in Texas first we had ice Monday night got a few inches of ice. Then the finale straw 6 inches of snow on Friday. The ice was still hanging around on Friday morn so the snow really made it fun. But Saturday was sunny and all the ice and snow began to melt. And today its really sunny so the roads will be great. In my last post I said that Gene's mom and dad are in town and they were leaving to go to there sons that day. They did which would have been a welcomed break we were all getting on each other nerves being stuck all together for a 4 days as you can tell from my post..lol. Well they had to end up coming back that night. There truck got broke into at there doctors office and they took his mom purse and cell. They broke out the window and you would think a cop would carry some plastic on them but no they had to drive back here with the window out. Anyways they come back, I know it could not be helped and I felt so bad for them. They had to stay here friday and sat to go to the DMV and get a new phone. But they left last night and will be down to there other son a few days. They will have to be back Wed for them to look at the truck. And I was informed the night they got the truck broke in they have another doctor appt in two weeks. So that was not welcomed news for me...lol That means they will be with us for three weeks. Okay a week of family is enough when you all don't get along...lol So anyway way that has been our week not been the best week, I did get to play some xbox last night with friends that was nice. And tomorrow Gene will be going back to work. Maybe with them gone for a few days as well I can craft Monday. I heard that we might have a repeat of ice again Tuesday if it makes it where no one can get our house guess it be a good thing...lol but Gene needs to work. He is so bored and to he is losing money. So anyway here are some photos of the snow hope everyone else has had better luck than we have had. Now off to store so I can get some snacks for watching super bowl. Have a great Sunday.

I am so bored!
Well we now are on day 3 of the ice and freezing temps. This photo above says it all ice skating in Texas streets...lol By the way that is not us, that is off the weather photos people have uploaded thought it was funny. Wish I knew were my ice skates were. We got about 4 inches of snow and few inches of ice started Monday night. Tuesday we was stuck here all day and wed we finally got out roads was really bad, we had to go food was getting low. I resorted to making biscuits from scratch yesterday. So before roads all refreeze we got to the store were almost fell...lol We also had rolling black outs Wed, we lost our power three times. I was so glad we had our fireplace....lol Today Gene is off work again for the third day now. Its so cold that you really don't want to go outside, we were in neg's far as wind chill. I have been so bored, and you ask well Michelle way did you not craft at all with all the spare time? I can tell you why we have had Gene's mom and dad in town the whole time, they got here Monday eve and have been stuck here since. They are staying in the guest room were my craft stuff is. Its been so fun....lol I cant craft I cant play on xbox cause they are always watching fox news. Does not help we don't get along. His dad is always talking politics, that gets old. When they are not watching news they are in bed and they leave the door open which is right by the living room, I feel like my home has been taken over. So you cant really watch tv or game on xbox, which is not good since I am a night owl...lol Anyway this storm has been a pain in the butt, and they say we will get more snow tonight and tomorrow that is the best part...lol At lest its not as bad as some states OK. got hit pretty bad and some places I seen on tv had 2ft of snow. That is just crazy! Well if you have been affected by this storm stay warm and safe and hope we all can go back to normal sometime soon.
