Pink stamper color challenge

My pink stamper is having a color challenge on her blog. Her challenge is to use Orange, turquoise and green and any other colors can be added that you would like. Her card turned out so cute! So here is the card I made with those colors. I love prima flowers I have to say I am hooked on them...lol I did not use the cricut much on this card but the pink border is off Accent essentials.
I wanted a sugar coated look to the big flower so I added chunky glitter to the flower tips and center. Well that is my card if you would like to join in click the my pink stamper blinkie to the right on my blog, and you can add your link to your project. Thanks for looking :)

Supplies used
DCWV scarp stack
Prima flowers
Cricut accent essential
martha stewart pearl stickers
Tim holtz distress inks
Stickles
Glitter

Hello Crafty Shell! I just read your "comment" on Thrifty Chic and agree 100% with what you said...the numbers, followers etc. - the emotions! I am a new blogger as well and it is a little scary. I have seen post after post of women who read but don't write, and other women who posted, quit, and now only read! My heart was "crushed" because I linked into a link party and when I went to check it this highly popular blog site apparently didn't like, appreciate my craft idea and "pulled" (aka DELETED)my idea! what? are you kidding me, I thought!? It was a fun, free, showcase of ideas with the rules "anything goes"! I felt so judged and pissed because I am new to this and thought my idea was simple but cute! Apparently NOT! I am not thick skinned either, and I do my blog for fun, for an outlet, and to secrety inspire people somehow, somewhere! So, don't give up, and to bad to those who didn't find you!!! Good luck!!! from colorofinspiration.blogspot.com

THANK YOU CRAFTY SHELL! I read your post this morning back to me...I appreciate your words! Blogging is so NOT like me but after a series of events over the year I decided that I needed a place and space of my own. When I go back to read some of my posts I still see uber conservatism and insecurity coming through...and, oh, so serious...I am not really a serious person! I am a teacher! Humor has to be the forefront when working with kids....However, I am taking a break from education to persue other things...but the other things haven't congealed! I guess another big topic for another blogging day! I do like the blog and find it fun! Funny, but I just read another blogger who said in bold letters "IF YOUR LINK IS NOT CONSISTENT WITH THE PARTY AND YOU DO NOT LIKE BACK I WILL DELETE YOU." I would not do that to someone knowing there are new people out there who area just learning how to to link, blog, post, etc. I could go on with my morning banter but I really wanted to say it was nice finding and meeting you. We already have things in common and for that I am grateful! My blog has a long way to go and I hope to pick up speed and write more consistently under each post heading!

Have you ever heard of Good Mail Day? Or mail artists? I think you would be great at it since you are a "crafy shell". If you go to www.good-mail-day.com you will see a link for other mail artists to connect. There are a whole host of mail artist sites out there but this is one I stumbled upon and like it. I have written to a few people and have gotten some responses. Some people send things daily!!! I do not have that kind of time! Check it out! You can share your creativity through the mail!!! It is like snail mail blogging!!! Have a wonderful day and thank you for your post!!!!!!!!!!!!
